It probably won't be the ultra-premium way that MS Word, LibreOffice, and Google Docs have Zotero integration unless the Obsidian devs look into how to leave that possibility open, which… well, I wouldn't bet on it. It will allow you to find and insert citations super fast without leaving your document.Īlso, there are good reasons to believe that Obsidian will eventually have Zotero integration. To make your writing process even better (regardless of whether you use RTF/ODF Scan), you can get the ZotHero workflow for Alfred. The codes are human-readable, but they're simply not as nice as seeing the proper citations. It works well, but it's not quite as elegant as Zotero's official integration with MS Word, LibreOffice, and Google Docs. It works by giving you codes to use for citations, and then you can scan the document later to have those codes automatically changed to whichever citation style you want. The RTF/ODF Scan plugin for Zotero will let you use any text editor.
